Recrystallized Silicon Carbide (R-Sic /Re-Sic)

This ceramic quality is burned under an inert gas atmosphere at a temperature 2300-2500℃, creating a pure sic material with an open porosity of 11 to 15%.During this process the mixture of fine and coarse sic grains is converted to a compact sic matrix. R-Sic is characterised by an excellent high thermal shock resistance. It’s mainly used for highly-stressed+highly-temp kiln furniture, for example for the firing of porcelain, AL2O3 ceramics, ZrO2 ceramics etc.
